David Collins

David Collins is a retired career diplomat with service in many countries around the world. As an Ambassador in South Asia and East Africa, he oversaw development work focusing on mother and child healthcare, food security, empowering women in business and disaster relief. At university, he was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy and spent 16 years as a reserve officer. A cradle Anglican raised largely in Halifax, David has served in parishes and chaplaincies in Europe and Canada and looks forward to his work with colleagues in the PWRDF/Alongside Hope.
