Jeff Hanger

Jeff was born in the town of Wellingborough, England where he was living when he met Treena, now his wife of over 20 years. They moved to Ponoka, Alberta in 2006 where they both became active members of their local church, St Mary’s. Jeff currently works as the Executive Director of the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce.
He has a degree in International Development and has visited Bangladesh a number of times, helping establish microcredit and drinking water projects. He become the parish representative for Alongside Hope (then PWRDF) in 2015 and has since run a number of events to fundraise for and promote the work of Alongside Hope – food security, the plight of refugees, safe drinking water, mothers and maternal health, and the response to the earthquake in Syria/Turkey.
Jeff is really pleased to be able to learn from and work with other parish representatives across the diocese.
