Lent 2025

Living Into God’s Dream
Weaving scripture, reflection and prayer together with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Anglican Marks of Mission, the Rev. Jonathan Rowe of the Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador, offers a rich tapestry in this year’s Alongside Hope Lenten resource. Titled Living into God’s Dream, the resource also offers the reader opportunity to reflect on questions, both personal and corporate and to learn more about Alongside Hope’s partners.
About the author

Jonathan Rowe is an Anglican priest with 21 years of service to the Church in Newfoundland and Labrador. A leader in discipleship, mission, and digital ministry, Jonathan supported collaboration among parishes as a former Mission Dean. He led a Discipleship and Ministry program, empowering Anglicans across the province to explore and articulate their faith, preparing them for a variety of ministries, both lay and ordained. He is currently leading “Sermon Club,” a weekly gathering that brings together young Anglican and Lutheran clergy from across Canada for shared learning and encouragement. When not facilitating these diverse group discussions, he can be found immersed in another challenging knitting project or building impressive stacks of firewood with his wife, Emily.
