What is the Alongside Hope Offering Envelope Program?
The Alongside Hope Offering Envelope Program provides free offering envelopes for two years to churches that wish to join the program for the first time. The boxed set of 52 offering envelopes, personalized with individual parish identification, includes 12 Alongside Hope envelopes spaced at monthly intervals with short stories of some of the work supported by Alongside Hope. This will allow offering envelope contributors to read a short story about the work of Alongside Hope as they make their regular contribution to the parish. If your parish would like to contribute all or a portion of Alongside Hope’s costs to help reduce administration costs, we thank you.
For churches joining for the first time, Alongside Hope will cover the costs for two years for all 52 envelopes and will bill parishes only for HST, shipping costs and any extra options selected. After two years in the program Alongside Hope will pay only for the 12 Alongside Hope envelopes included in each box. Individual parishes will be billed for the cost of their envelopes, shipping, HST and any extra options.
Why the Alongside Hope Offering Envelope Program?
The Offering Envelope Program provides an important opportunity to:
• Include Alongside Hope as part of your parish stewardship and outreach;
• Increase giving to Alongside Hope;
• Foster an understanding of Alongside Hope’s ministry through short stories on the envelopes.
What about Special Envelopes?
Envelopes for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, numbered but without church name can be included at a cost of 6 cents per envelope. Other special envelopes for the Building Fund, Cemetery Fund, Good Friday, etc. can also be requested.
You can also design your own envelopes as long as the design can be applied to dollar-sized envelopes printed on the flap side. Three standard design options are given on the order form. You can also order coloured envelopes, or white envelopes with either a green or maroon border.
How to Order?
To take advantage of Alongside Hope’s bulk rate discount with Post Church Envelopes, please complete and return your order form via email to Post Church Envelopes or by mail to the address below. The deadline to order 2026 envelopes at the reduced rate is July 17, 2025. Prices are subject to increase after that date.
