Jerusalem

This initiative was developed in response to the emergency crisis triggered by the outbreak of war on October 7, 2023, which has deeply disrupted daily life across the region. Over the past 12 months (February 2024 to January 2025), Anglican Alliance partners have worked together on joint projects to strengthen six key diocesan institutions, including St. George’s School in Jerusalem.

In Jerusalem, the project has focused on ensuring continuity of education and stability for children and families during this time of uncertainty. By supporting St. George’s School, the initiative has helped provide a safe environment for students, protected jobs for teachers and staff, and reinforced the role of education as a source of hope in the midst of conflict.
