Emergency Relief
Support for 10,000 families who have been evacuated from the wildfires affecting northern Manitoba during the summer of 2025. Many families evacuated to Winnipeg have an expensive journey to the evacuation centre to access clothing, toiletries and other amenities. Most people did not take a lot of clothing with them to wear throughout the unknown evacuation period. In addition, they are not eating food they are accustomed to and they are missing their traditional food.
